My elevator pitch:
Social Media Strategist influenced by societal trends and a background in graphic design. Skills include: content creation, CMS, SEO, analytics, HTML, photography and graphic design; also an experienced blogger. I excel in creating a cohesive experience through social media, graphic design and marketing.
Currently, I design and implement strategic social media programs created to meet a range of business goals from visibility, awareness and engagement to increasing sales and decreasing company costs. My approach utilizes a blend of creative content, messaging plans, graphic design, specialized ad campaigns, demographic research, tracking and measuring analytics and optimizing SEO on the social networks.
I’m currently assisting the Social Media Team of American Idol Season 12. I develop and manage the social media across all platforms, including finalists’ social pages. Responsibilities include creating unique messaging, graphics, contests and online campaigns. I assist in reporting and analytics, and interface with the community at large. At the studio, I sit in on photo and video shoots. On show days, I live tweet from the audience. I share insider info about the contestants via social outlets of the “Idol Insider.”
At Blaze PR, I managed the social media program – strategy, plans, integration, implementation, counsel, and management. Blaze PR is a nationally recognized PR/communications firm that represents leading brands in luxury travel, hospitality, and lifestyle industries. Clients include 7-Eleven, Original Tommy’s, SnöBar, Ivan Kane’s Royal Jelly Burlesque Nightclub, AmaWaterways, The Living Christmas Company, Dripp and the Marina del Rey Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Prior to joining Blaze, I worked at Universal McCann. I implemented the production and distribution of Sony Pictures newspaper ads. In facilitating optimal results, I attended press checks at the Los Angeles Times on a regular basis.
